Who we are

We become your HR assistants. How? By working directly with you, your office manager, HR Director, or CFO. We partner with your bookkeeper, your accountant, and your employees. In fact, we speak directly with your employees when they have questions about their plan, so they don’t have to go through your staff, or call the insurance company themselves. And when they have questions about their claims, Steve and Katie will do their best to explain what’s going on.

Meet Our Team
Steve Feldman

Founder & Managing Member

Steve is a licensed independent broker of employee benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision and disability income benefits. A graduate of University of Delaware, Steve began his insurance career in 1993, and today brings his experience, expertise and passion to clients located mostly in the Washington, DC/Maryland/Virginia area, helping them establish and manage their employee benefit plans. He is a ‘hands on’ broker who takes a true partnership approach to helping business owners establish the benefit plans that best suit the needs of their small business. Steve also helps families plan for a secure financial future by offering individual life, disability income, and long-term care insurance products. A life-long resident of Montgomery County, MD, Steve loves to travel, is an avid golfer, social poker player, and fan of The Washington Commanders and Washington Nationals. Steve and his wife reside in North Potomac, MD.

Katie Trinh

Senior Account Manager

Katie has been the key point of contact for Washington Benefits Group clients since 2007. A licensed insurance agent herself, she provides day-to-day hands-on client support and accountability that helps distinguish WBG from other brokers. Katie helps clients with the enrollment, administration, and processing of newly hired employees, as well as helping with employee changes and addressing benefits billing questions. Katie is a long-time Maryland resident, and lives with her husband and three dogs in Frederick, MD.
